HOW IS THIS DONE?
Goal Alignment. A clear “line of sight” is established between the organizational strategy and the contributions of each team. Goals are determined for each performance measure. Triggers (corrective action deployment) are also set to provide quick and decisive problem solving and solution implementation. Measures and improvement actions are reviewed daily by each team in short pre-shift meetings.
Performance measures demonstrate how we are doing. By creating a ‘visual workplace’ all can see and track; daily, weekly and monthly performance. In a visual workplace, poor performance is hard to hide and good performance properly recognized.
Training is provided by skilled and experienced CDI professionals. All necessary materials are provided.

A key feature of MDW is formal external and internal coaching reviews, carried out regularly, to ensure the application of the new skills and the enculturation of those already learned.
